Im sure were all guilty of at least one of these, I know I am!
Its nice to have these laid out for us from time to time in order to reflect upon ourselves and recent experiences, so we may grow. Not only as DJ’s and music lovers, but people aswell. So much of Djing is about social interaction we can easily lose track of ourselves in the music.
Coupled with the fact djing is very popular with the younger audience, many of whom are adolescents and haven’t yet fully developed their social skills, can lead to some difficult encounters both in and out of the DJ booth which, if handled rashly, could affect your future prospects.
Hopefully articles like this will lead the way for a better breed of dj’s that’ll have better respect, etiquette and as such, prosper in their career and stand the test of time.
