Ivy Lab have just dropped some previews of their debut single coming on Critical 4th Feb.
Quite a diverse release, side A ft Frank Carter is a sublime roller, not too dissimilar in style to Oblique. Side B comes in with a tougher edge, more traditional to the Critical sound.
All round a great release, definitely worth the time for a listen, maybe even worth the pennies for the wax!
Theres a couple of new tunes doing the rounds from some highly respected artists:
The only catch is you’ll need to like their facebook page and they’ll only release the tunes when they have the bumped up their likes a fair bit. So get sharing!
Happy new year all! Hope you all had wicked holidays, and sticking to your resolutions too 😉
To kick off 2013 on the blog theres some big news fresh from the Critical camp!
At the start of 2012 Sabre, Stray and Halogenix teamed up to drop one of the most blissful pieces of drum & bass that year, ‘Oblique’. Since then the dreamteam have continued their late night studio sessions and are now ready to announce their new collaborative project, Ivy Lab.
Their first release is already lined up:
Plus a little bonus from the guys, Oblique VIP up for free download if you hop on over and like the FB page. Wicked tune, you’d be silly not to bag it.
Dark, dark vibes coming out on Horizons these days, I do love it though.
Amoss – Recycle
Sunchase & NickBee – Compounder
Halogenix – Tender Chain
Amoss – Footloose (Linden, Octane & DLR Remix)
Coming at the end of March.
