Gig Updates
After a short bout of man-flu I’m back on my feet and feel a little more inspired to update. This ones a quick one on all the chances you’ll get to catch my sounds coming to you live.
First off, bloom!
This one’s a residents special and the last chance you’ll get to come down for a boogie till the cold-ass winter’s on its way out in March of next year. Put it in your diary; Friday 21st at the Shakespeare in Derby.
Set times to be confirmed but I’ll be on after 10, hopefully a little later towards prime time so I can get on a heavy 3 deck mix-up. Expect a retrospective look on all my fave deep/tech and neuro tracks this year.
Plus, the world will most likely end, and its free all night so no excuses.
Next up is Basstrap:
On the same night as bloom (due to unforeseen circumstances) I’ll be opening up for Annix from 9pm till 10 covering the lighter side of dnb.
Expect the best of this years liquid with a deep tip to get the party started.
£4 in all night.
No matter what your taste in dnb there’ll be something for you this friday 21st December on Sadler gate.

That time of the month is almost upon us again to go and get out regular dose of beats down at bloom. This month is turning out to be somewhat of a Jungle fest with Theory and XTC gracing the decks. So get your dancing shoes on and make the most of what we have left of this miserable summer before its too damn cold to party in the beer garden!

Bloom! 1st Birthday Bash – 18th May 2012
Its been a big year for bloom, humble beginnings have escalated into an excellent night which really highlights what drum & bass is all about; community!
Being a bit of a special Bloom this month, we’ve got Shookz coming to tear the place down! Metaphorically of course, as this being an outdoor night the only things you can really tear down are the patio heaters! We’ll give it a good go though eh people!

Bloom is back on after a little hiaetus in December.
Great lineup of local, and not so local heads. As ever, this will be wicked vibes from the undergound.
I love bloom, its getting a nice little reputation for itself too. Long may it prosper!
Friday 27th January – Saddlers, Saddler Gate, Derby
You like that crazy dubstep all the kids are raving on about? Yeah, me too. Its a good shout then to get yourself out for derbys biggest dubstep night!
Featuring many upcoming talents and some established local DJ’s you cant go wrong if this is your bag.
Saturday 28th Jan – Spanky Van Dikes, 17 Goldsmith Street, Nottingham
I just spotted this naughty little gig as I was writing this article. Its been a while since Ive partied to some dnb at spankys.
I have fond memories of CULT when it used to be there, fucking sick place. Love the vibes, epic sound system, and with a lineup like this for freebies!
No question, im there.
Saturday 4th February – The Shakespere, Saddler gate, Derby
These guys have been busy over the past few months building up another solid night at the shakespere.
Mainly dubstep-centric you can expect a lot of deep, deep vibes from this place, shakespere is as always, a wicked venue for a party.

ruary – The Sunlounge, 15A Wardwick, Derby
Ahh the mighty Deckadance, THE staple underground derby dnb night since forever.
Whilst Mr Pablo is off galavanting in foreign lands for a few months, the reigns have fallen to Phil Hustle of the exceptional Hustle Audio.
I cant stress enough how wicked this night is gonna be; Cursa, Pessimist, Mr Hustle himself, Ed:it, Expect & Snaps.
I dont think I need to say any more than that. Be there!
